Now you can purchase California wines sporting labels that feature your favorite pet(s) by joining the Dog Lovers Wine Club. Nonprofit organizations can also become fundraising affiliates of the wine club. (The club isn’t available in all states.)

Here at Cape Rose Toy Poodles we’ve been making not just our own wine labels -- but our own wine -- for several years. We call our kitchen-winery “Chateau Caniche” (house of poodles) for obvious reasons.

Making wine is easy; the yeast do most of the work. We plan to add a wine-making page to this site as time allows. But for now, here is a photo showing some of the wines we’ve made and the labels we’ve created to decorate our bottles. Creating your own labels is pretty simple, too.

But if making your own wine doesn’t interest you, you might check out the Dog Lovers Wine Club. From personal experience we know that people appreciate receiving wine as a gift. And with your pet featured on the label, the wine’s almost guaranteed to taste even better!
